Jackie Schaeffer

Jackie earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Virginia Tech.

She began her career with the Henry Jackson Foundation at the Military HIV Research Program (MHRP). In the Cytotoxic T Cell laboratory, she focused on ELISpot & Flow cytometry to support numerous HIV clinical trials. She spent the next 7 years at Aeras in the Translational Immunology & Biomarkers group performing small animal studies, managing NHP studies and supporting clinical trials in the TB vaccine space.

In 2016, Jackie transitioned to Project Management at Precigen, where she served as project manager for Precigen’s Gorilla Adenovector portfolio.  In this role, her team successfully moved two products into the clinic while simultaneously producing clinical material on-site.

Prior to joining Vector Biomed, Jackie spent two years at Integrated Biotherapeutics (IBT) managing the relationship and numerous projects with IBT’s anchor client.
