Director / Sr. Director of Sales
General Overview: Vector BioMed is a state-of-the-art contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in best-in-class lentiviral vectors. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our growing team. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of life sciences market, as well as experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and training materials
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Identifying and qualifying new prospects, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals
- Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities
- Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong understanding of the cell and gene therapy market
- Proven track record of success in closing deals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
